Vitali Gavrouc is truly a world-class pianist with his superb technique to make piano sing, beautiful musicality, and the profound thoughts. It will be an incredible experience to listen to an internationally acclaimed pianist up so close! 

Program:

  • Scriabin: Sonata No. 4  & No.9  / 8 Studies Op. 42 / 2 Poems Op. 32                   
  • Debussy:   Children's corner               
  • Chopin:  Nocturnes in C-sharp minor &  D-flat Major                    
  • Rachmaninov:   Preludes / Etude-tableau in E-flat minor    

Vitali Gavrouc, born in Chisnau, Moldova, at the age of six. Vitali won numerous prizes in the international competitions since he was 13 over Europe, such as the first places in E. Coca International Competition in Moldava,  Jeunesses Musicales International Competition in Romania, V Piano Meeting in Italy, the third prize in the International Delphic Games in Kiev, Ukraine, and won many more compeitions as a duo pianist. He has also performed many piano concerti such the ones by W.A. Mozart, C. Franck, Saint-Saens, Tchaikovsky, Scriabin Rachmaninov, Schnittke , J.S. Bach , Bartok with the orchestra in Moldava, Moscow, Switzerland, Romania.

Vitali has studied at Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, with professor Natalia Troull (piano), professor Alexander Bonduryansky (chamber ensemble), professor Galina Brykina (piano accompaniment), and graduated from the Conservatory cum lauda in 2011.
